Center of Akihabara

We can buy many used parts and junks at small to mid-size computer specialty shops.

Otaku (おたく/オタク) is a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime, manga, and video games.
We may see many otaku people walking around Akihabara.

Maid Cafe!!
We will be testing the service standards and professionalism of maids – NOT household maids but waitresses who dress up as elegant maids in cosplay theme restaurants – Maid cafés (Meido kafe) in Akihabara. Compared with service at normal cafés, the service at cosplay cafés involves the creation of a rather different atmosphere. The staff treat the customers as masters and mistresses in a private home rather than merely as café customers.

Cosplay (コスプレ kosupure), short for "costume play", is type of performance art in which participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan. Favorite sources include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies. You may be able to see them in Akihabara!!

AKB48 is an all-female Japanese theater/idol group. Unlike other idol groups in Japan, AKB48 is theatre-based and have their own theatre in Akihabara where they perform once every weekday, and more than once on both Saturday and Sunday.
